Meet the Boca Raton Team Behind Vance Gate Repair Boca Raton

Our Boca Raton crew is small by design. Five technicians, one coordinator, and a shared rule: if the gate isn’t right when we leave, we haven’t finished. Most of us came from commercial access-control work, where sloppy wiring or an undocumented adjustment gets caught on the next inspection. Residential gate work in Boca Raton deserves the same discipline. The people below are the ones who show up at your property, carry the tool bags, and answer for the work with their names on the job record.

Our People

Luis M. - Lead Technician

Luis has been with Vance Gate Repair Boca Raton since 2016, starting as an installer and moving into lead technician within three years. He holds certifications on LiftMaster and DoorKing operator systems and does most of our swing-arm and slide-gate motor diagnostics. Before gates, Luis worked on commercial HVAC controls, which shows in how he traces a low-voltage short: wiring diagram out, meter on, one circuit at a time. He lives in West Boca with a rescue greyhound named Socket, who has never once helped on a job site but believes otherwise.

Renee C. - Senior Installer

Renee handles our heavier installations: new aluminum driveway gates, welded steel frames, and full operator retrofits on existing columns. She’s been welding for 14 years, and her gate frames are the ones we point to when a customer asks whether a lightweight store-bought kit is good enough. Renee is BFT and FAAC trained and runs the fabrication side of our parts-and-welding calls. On weekends she builds furniture out of scrap aluminum. The welding rig at the shop is hers, and she treats it accordingly.

Marisol D. - Service Coordinator

Marisol answers the phone, often at 3 a.m., and she’s the reason you don’t hear background noise on the call. She has been with Vance since 2018 and knows the Boca Raton service territory down to the gated communities and the HOA access quirks. Before dispatch, Marisol confirms what the technician needs to bring: gate model, motor brand, whether the photo-eye is present, whether the hinge post is concrete or aluminum. She also handles the paperwork side of every job so the written price, the photo log, and the warranty record are ready before the truck leaves the lot.

Diego R. - Apprentice Technician

Diego is our newest team member, two years into his apprenticeship under Luis. He handles tool staging, parts organization, and the initial safety walk on every job, which means he’s the one photographing your gate before we touch it. Diego is working toward his LiftMaster and Linear operator certifications and spends Tuesday evenings on wiring practice boards in the shop. He grew up in Delray Beach and rides a bicycle to the yard most mornings, which means he’s the only one of us who has never complained about Boca traffic.

The five of us run every visit through the same sequence, whether it’s a broken hinge in a community off Clint Moore Road or a failed operator on a property in Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club. Adrian Vance started this company in 2014 doing commercial access-control documentation, and he expects the same paperwork habit on a residential gate in Boca Raton that a corporate campus in Miami would get.
